Benefits of Boston

Northeastern University's main campus is located in the heart of Boston. This diverse city is rich in American history and holds over 30 colleges, with dozens more in the surrounding areas. Across the street from the Museum of Fine Arts and Symphony Hall on the Avenue of the Arts and blocks from the iconic Prudential Center the University is positioned in the center of Boston's cultural hub. Sports fans will love the close proximity to infamous Fenway Park just across the street.

Residents of the city are very conscious of the environment and have made biking an easy and accessible transportation option. Check out Hubway  to learn where you can travel around the city. Both the green line and the orange line cut through campus and provide a fast and efficient way to get to and from student's co-op's, the airport, and to surrounding neighborhoods for weekend exploration. MBTA has easy trip planners for new and returning residents. This international city has pleanty of world renowned cuisine from Mexican to Chinese, Thai to Indian, Eithiopian to German and everything else in between. 

Boston is flourishing with todays leading research hospitals, companies and organizations. As an engineering student there are many opportunities to work with Professors, corporations on co-op and work at some of the best Hospitals in the country.
